For the National Roofing Alliance (NRA) Safetech has developed a special Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) program that will monitor IAQ parameters at individual job locations remotely and can be viewed on line in real time. This is a significant advancement. Now, you can install a specialized IAQ monitor that measures up to 6 parameters including; Temperature, Relative Humidity, Carbon Monoxide, Carbon Dioxide, Total Dust, and Volatile Organic Compounds near the work area and results can be viewed on line. Access to the on line website may be given to the individual client, the project manager, the site superintendent, the Ministry of Labour inspector, and any other interested party to review IAQ data to assure building occupants of IAQ health & safety. In addition, the monitors can be programmed to alarm when certain values are exceeded. For example, if the monitor records an elevated VOC reading, the system can be programmed to send out an alert email to any email address. The person receiving the email may then respond accordingly to the alert.

Safetech can also assist NRA members with individual Health & Safety plans. We can review existing plans to ensure they are up to date with the most current regulations, guidelines, and standard practices.
